About me

My name is Kamil and I’m fortunate to call myself a developer 🙂 Let me introduce myself by telling you a brief story about: the beginning of my computer science passion, CS degree (and what I learned through it), my first internship as a Power Platform developer, my current job in MS POS as a junior developer and my plans for the future.

I’ve got to know proper applications developing in a middle school, when I’ve faced subject about basics of programming and algorithms. It was gripping, especially when it comes to making our own project. We were encouraged to do a project using Python and some of its graphical libraries. That’s how I invented my first-ever app – it was actually a game in a casino-like style where player had an opportunity to play with a computer or another player. Rules were very simple because the result of the game was basically dependent on the “power” of player`s random throws of the cube, but it was fun to play anyway. I regret to mention that I lost the code of it somewhere as it happened a long while ago, but fortunately it lasts as my cheerful memory 🙂

Then it was time to take on studies. Choosing Computer Science degree was a pure decision of a heart because I didn’t calculate much, I only knew that I wanted to have a job connected with computers. I knew very little about programming back then so joining a students’ group that has been talented in that field wasn’t easy at all, but I’ve taken fantastic life lesson because of it. That spell of time, which lasted almost 4 years, was full of ups and downs, but I managed to get a Bachelor’s degree and I’m still proud of it.

During studies I’ve learned about a lot about programming, considering I got to know a lot of programming languages, for instance C, C++, Python, Java, SQL or HTML/CSS. But I realised that it`s not possible to master every given technology and the best you can learn is to understand as I say programming laws just to be ready to choose one or two technologies for the future development. Back then Python was my language of choice. Even once I’ve created complex website with my friends using it with popular framework called Flask, also adding HTML/CSS for design. It was a memes page site, which has been built as a kind of a social platform. The funniest part of the project was a presentation, when we’ve shown not only our website, but also memes already added by users.

Also, I had an opportunity to take on one-month internship where I’ve been a helpdesk team trainee. It was my very first experience at a real workplace and it was exiting to see how it works. I understood especially that the company is a bunch of people, and when they go home the company doesn’t exist, so people are the most important factor for success 🙂 My responsibilities consisted of supporting internal users with their daily technical issues, observing experienced helpdesk crew and creating documentation of my learning process, including onboarding and meeting a whole place. As it was an interesting experience, I felt that I want to take on a pure developer path.

At the ending of the studies spell I was obligated to create a Bachelor’s final project. I’ve chosen a statistics and maths-based subject which was an analysis of linear regression and multiple regression and it was fun to make it because of my analysis-oriented mind and attention to details thinking. I learned that using regressions and proper corelations between chosen statistics can give a huge advantage in real-life problems because it can draw a prediction of future possible scenarios in front of your eyes.

After earning Bachelor’s degree, I decided to look for a job. I already knew what roles I’d like to consider, but a situation on a job market isn’t easy, especially for inexperienced people, so it was a time to learn by myself, also improving soft skills, to find a chance for employment. And that’s how I met Adrian – a very kind RPA developer, who welcomed me as an intern and taught me a lot of things, including a technology stack that I didn’t realise existed – Power Platform. During that time, I’ve created apps, that helped me understand and learn how to use it (you can find description of them on my Linkedin profile), additionally I rediscovered my love for programming while I was in a frustrating job searching process. Thank God I really never give up on my dreams 🙂

Then I’ve got a satisfying offer to become a Junior Power Platform developer at MS POS on full-time job and I took it without hesitation. I’ve worked here since July 2025 and it occurred as my new home. I’m much better now not only as a developer, but also as a person comparing to me when I joined the team thanks to the people there. I’m and always will be extremely grateful for a chance given to me. I work on many projects: a warehouse management app, a government waste utilization app, a products’ quality testing app and more. Additionally, I pursue a Microsoft learning path and learn about Power Platform to expand my knowledge. I’ve earned PL-900 and PL-200 certifications. Currently, I learn how to make plugins using C# and JavaScript basics to be able to develop CRM applications with full pocket of possibilities regarding useful customizations.

My goal for the future is to grow as a developer and as a person by improving my skills, giving my best to the team, doing side projects and gaining next certificates. My career is short, but I believe there are many delightful things to come so keep your fingers crossed 🙂
